Fire Breaks Out At Peekskill Apartment Building

Firefighters were dispatched to a Westchester apartment building shortly before noon after a fire broke out.

Crews responded to the two-story building in Peekskill on Washington Street at approximately 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 where there was a report of a working fire in the building.

While firefighters battle the blaze, the area and roadway are temporarily shut down. No other information was immediately available.
